Job description Job Summary

This person is responsible for performing clinical activities such as independent assessments and service interventions as directed by the treatment plan and/or identified need(s) of the client. This position interfaces with treatment team for outpatient services and authorizes the medical necessity of services as indicated. This position may provide monitoring, clinical supervision and training of staff at certain clinical sites. This role consists of creating and managing provider care plans and will participate in the evaluation of current and future medical needs of the client.

Job Responsibilities

•   Provide various outpatient mental health services to include psychotherapy with the goal of patient recovery.

•   Develop service plans and conduct reviews as needed throughout the duration of treatment.

•   Provide mental health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans to include interventions for recovery, assist with providing crisis stabilization, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals for treatment.

•   Complete and maintain documentation according to federal and state guidelines.

Education, Skills, & Work Experience

•   A Master's degree from an accredited university

•   Licensed in the state of Texas

•   At least 1 year experience in the mental health field providing outpatient counseling

  services as a licensed counselor, social worker, or psychologist to children, adolescents, & adults

Job Types: Part time to Full time, Salary: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year with benefits:

Schedule:

•   8 hour shift/PRN

•  Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

 Houston, TX 77002: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work 

Willingness to travel:

 25% (Preferred)
